Very friendly caring staff who were sympathetic do my father confusion about where he was and what had happened to him.
Really great care. Long wait for blood to arrive first thing.
Nurses are lovely just overworked as not enough of them.
No bracelet until about 15 hours after admission.
Surgeon confused my care having checked my condition also thought I was having a pacemaker fitted next day.
Confusion over medicines including my antibiotics. Also even though they knew I am asthmatic gave me no medication. I just continued using my own. Some of this was also acute medical.
My medical treatment was very well organised. When I needed to talk to someone, staff were sympathetic and kind and had time for everyone.
There was an upbeat, encouraging atmosphere which helped me feel more positive.
Please please please provide pillows!
People friendly and attentive, caring nothing was too much trouble.
Very attentive care.
The toilet paper holder is in an awkward position under you are double jointed.
All staff were caring and went the extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable and cared for.
I waited all day for a test that was no longer needed but kept informed by nurses as soon as they know.
A little more doctor attendance and update. Otherwise I was totally happy with all aspects of my stay in this ward.
Everyone was considerate and caring.
Thank you.
Ward staff are fantastic. My praise for them is very high. They do a great job. However.
Once discharged I was told I would have to wait no longer than two hours for my medicines from the pharmacy. I waited 4 hours and they still have not arrived. All I wanted to do was get home, get comfortable and get out of pain.
I decided to leave and pick my medicines up later in the evening. I went to the pharmacy on the way out to see if I could pick them up, but they told me they had just got them through and it would be another hour and a half. This is frankly disgusting. It is a huge problem that needs sorting out. It causes all sorts of problems with patients and you need to do something about it. It cost your hospital my bed for the day.
And that is just not acceptable at all.
