Ward staff are fantastic. My praise for them is very high. They do a great job. However. Once discharged I was told I would have to wait no longer than two hours for my medicines from the pharmacy. I waited 4 hours and they still have not arrived. All I wanted to do was get home, get comfortable and get out of pain. I decided to leave and pick my medicines up later in the evening. I went to the pharmacy on the way out to see if I could pick them up, but they told me they had just got them through and it would be another hour and a half. This is frankly disgusting. It is a huge problem that needs sorting out. It causes all sorts of problems with patients and you need to do something about it. It cost your hospital my bed for the day. And that is just not acceptable at all.
