I found Joan and Shona very helpful through out the period of my stay. They both were very keen to carry out the tasks assigned. Very alert and intelligent in carrying out the tasks. I was very low when I came to Newsham hospital because of the history I was given about the hospital. Contrary to that I found my self very welcome by both Shona and Joan in Becton ward. I would recommend, Becton ward particularly to any patient.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, so I felt very comfortable and welcome. (this was a marked improvement on my experience in this hospital many years ago). So thank you all.

Improved only being shown menu rather than being told. Nurses wonderful. Social worker living up to reputation absolutely useless!
