The midwives were fantastic in everything. I was listened to every time I made any request and was always checked on at regular intervals.
A special thank you and well done to midwife Katarina, Phoebe Emma and Lorraine for all their wonderful and professional services they rendered to us.
The midwife I had Irene was absolutely amazing. She coached me whilst pushing and because of her I only had a tiny tear with one stitch.
First I meet Stephen and Bel they treated me with kindness and compassion.
Then I receive treatment from Mohammed with dignity and respect.
Thanks.
Doctor and nurses were very helpful, understanding and caring.
The care I received from the surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses at Newham Hospital: Gateway Surgical Unit was outstanding. I was really anxious about having a hip operation but everyone always took time to explain and offer reassurance. Post Op, yes there is some pain but the doctors/nurses try to limit it, it's nothing like that arthritic pain. I am grateful to everyone.
If there's an area of care that needs improving it is the physio/occupational therapists. They do not spend enough time with patients. Time should be taken to watch, encourage and ensure that exercises are done correctly.
Very attentive one to one care attentive to the needs of the mother. Good checks throughout the stay.
