I found the whole thing stress free, staff were fantastic.
The staff wave very attentive and helped in any way they could. It was difficult to sleep both as a result of staff attending other patients and are particular patient snoring. The presence of a drip and Catheter made getting comfortable tricky. Perhaps the availability of blindfold masks and ear plugs would be useful. To be fair, I did not ask about availability.
All staff were lovely, and informative.
All staff are friendly, helpful and had a good bedside manner.
Well organised and professional and still had time to have a bit of a joke which helped recovery.
Didn't rush me - allowed me to take my time which was appreciated.
Clean and fresh ward.
Only one point to make was missing sink plug in shower room toilet.
Otherwise very impressed with the care.
Thank.

Everybody was amazing.
There is nothing to be improved it is fantastic.
Surgeon was fantastic and explained what he was doing which was really good.
I was happy with the treatment and care, I was looked after very well.
Very friendly.
Very caring.
Nothing too much trouble.
They were excellent.
Friendly and professional staff.
Tea and biscuits were very welcome.
Theatre staff relaxed me and stopped my anxiety.
The only negatives to report were that -
1. I was not made aware until today that Mr Neil Rowson (my initial consultant) would not be performing the operation. This proved academic as the surgeon was excellent, its just comes down to nerves and the fact that I don't like my eyes being touched!
2. I had asked Neil Rowson for a sedative and this was confirmed in my letter, but I was told on the day that this would not be available. The staff helped me to overcome my nerves on the day though.
Efficient, emphatic and considerate. 5 stars.
Info about discharge time could be more informative.
