Families can cope to different degrees. The help the staff gave was invaluable when situations become out of families depth.
I have had counselling with a very professional, compassionate and caring lady who not only listened well but gave me much good advice and strategies to deal with my problems/ anxieties.
Despite care restrictions. I was offered complementory therapy as soon as longfils were able. My therapist 5 am was excellent very attentive and the experience really supported me in my healing journey.
Karen was amazing she helped me so much I cannot thank her enough for her patience and understanding. She has helped me so much.
I was unsure what to aspect.
My wife, Lisa, was terminally ill with cancer and although, Longfield only ended up looking after her for 10 days, she enjoyed their visits enormously. They were always very bubbly and chatty with her as well as being thoroughly professional and caring. They also supported me as It was a very difficult experience given we had been together for 50 years. They always talked us through everything and nothing was too much trouble. I simply don't know how we would have managed without them. On the day of her passing, they helped sort everything out and that allowed me to grieve without having to deal with the more mundane matters. I can't thank them enough.
The councelling made a vast difference to my outlook in just 3 sessions. Many thanks for your help.
Because she very nice.
Throughout the sessions, Emma was just the right mixture of reassuringly professional but also personable and kind. I really looked forward to our sessions, even though we worked hard it never felt like work.
This was not an easy process for me but the sessions helped be to both understand and open up about my grief I felt at ease, safe, empowered and better equipped to move forward with life I feel that Liz really has been my saviour. Thank you.
