Review of Fatigue and Breathlessness Group written by a family member

The course was done so well. Alison and sometimes Sarah had it. It was well structured and thought out (I am an extractor so I know) and sensitivity to people's personal concerns was handed so well (especially Alison). Time was allowed for chat and questions and controlled not rushed. Thank you.

A beautiful place, very welcoming, staff always caring and supporting, group size not too big, it was just lovely to switch off from everything and enjoy the time spent there.

I wasn't bombarded with questions. I was allowed to expel all my emotions and thoughts without interruptions. Very successful outcome.

Review of Counselling Outpatients written by a family member

Everything was good. The frequency and number of sessions offered, the gentle reminders to book the next sessions, that it was free, the type of counselling, Laura was wonderful. Just the chance to talk through everything, deontological and to let fears flow or laughter bubble up. It was great to be able to come to counselling together as a couple. It has had a very positive impact on me and I have been able to get in touch with issues that I was unaware of and that I will continue to explore!!!

Laura understood my situation very well and was able to give suggestions of practical things to could do to feel better and support my family she also helped me understand which of my feelings were likely to be linked to my dad's death, and which weren't. The reception staff were very professional and calm, and I loved being offered tea. Also were 'non-judgmental' when I postponed a couple of sessions, which helped my stress levels.

Intelligent, balanced, well held and appropriate. We are very lucky to have received this amount of time to process the experience of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Laura has a generous spirit and is skilled.
