The group was nice and small so everyone got chance to talk.
Always seen quite promptly and staff are able to answer the questions that I have about my condition.
The lady listened and let me no what to do l was pleased about that l will my sister no about this so she can lose same what.
Constant education by dietician Hannah Foster is of invaluable assistance relating to weight management, her information and education with her setting indicate that weight management is a live long exercise, rather than a quick fix to weight loss Hannah's sessions have been enoutrous benefit overall and where possible she has taken inot acoount and encompassed my other ongoing health issues eg mobility problems. However it is difficult for me to achieve difficult for me to achieve continuity with programmes nothing currently running as 50 minutes group sessions, as I find once a month sessions not enough, compared with 2 hour sessions originality committed to.
Appointment accessible, parking available near to clinic, reception was quick, efficient and friendly; appointment was on time, no waiting. Clinician was interested in whole situation for child, listened to recent information and checked details thoroughly. Clinician was friendly, approachable and had an excellent manner with our son. She provided useful information about current and future dietetic issues and was supportive of our parental approach. Clinician emphasised that we could access the service at any time but did not need regular monitoring appointments. I felt that we were given as much toime as we needed to discuss the situation and options for our son. Our appointment with the clinician was great: accessible, timely and informative.
Only small improvements I would recommend would be to put a sign on the lift/stairs door by the downstairs entrance to confirm dietetics reception is upstairs as it wasn't immediately obvious that we were definitely in the correct place and would have been reassuring. Our son needs constant monitoring and runs off so it is quite stressful taking him to appointments and subtle signage is difficult to access. Also there weren't very many toys in the waiting area and nothing for older children. This wasn't an issue for us as we didn't bring his older sister this time and were only waiting for 1 or 2 minutes. Had it been a 10 minute wait with more than 1 child this could have been problematic. Overall our experience was excellent, thank you.
Thank you for your comments which we have fed back to the staff. We will look at how we can improve the signage to make it clearer and also putting toys in the waiting room.
