A positive experience on every visit.
Receptionists in nephrology clinic are always friendly and very polite. Have never had a problem getting parked unlike the Wansbeck General Hospital which is awful for parking
evey one is well turned out and happy to help you
i have been a patient at Freeman Hospital for 36 years. I am under the nephrology Deot and Cardiology Dept. we are really lucky in the north east to have Freeman Hospital as my care has been consistent over the years. I am regularly in the hospital (yesterday) and tomorrow and find the hospital very clean.
I was an in patient earlier in the year, and an elderly patient developed diahorrea the cleaner was called immediately on to the ward and she throughly cleaned the area where the patient had been, even replacing the curtains and throughly cleaning the bathroom. All the staff do a great job and look after you really well,
Simply the best hospital I've ever been admitted to. Even the food was great ;-)
The entire staff team from domestics to consultants are top class.
My only problem is that of parking charges which I think, in principle, are a disgrace
I was treated in the Institute of Transplantation (Ward 38) and received exemplary care from all members of staff.
I cannot praise the unit or it's staff enough.
Absolutely fantastic care an treatment by all on Ward 10. Had a Sinus operation requiring a general anesthetic and staff throughout care were fabulous. Well done NHS and very impressed with Freeman Staff too. I cannot fault anything and you should be very proud of what you do.
This is a great hospital.
Their X-Ray department is superb with great staff and well organised.
Out Patients is hugely busy, so there can be delays, but stay with it because its worth the attention you get when you see 'the man'.
I had superb attention from the nursing staff at all times.
I did have a few niggles with administration, trying to time xrays and seeing the consultant at the same visit, but this was accomplished satisfactorily.
