Excellent care from start to finish. Staff went above and beyond to help and look after me. The assistant practitioner, Sam Stocks was lovely, and informed me of all the things I needed to know and nothing was too much trouble for her. There was an ECC doctor, who's name I didn't get, that, again did so much and certainly in regard of organising pain relief that got me through an ankle reduction. The resus staff were well organised.

The only thing that let it down was having to walk around from the drop off point at the main entrance, to the ECC. Obviously, this isn't staff related and is building work that has gone on for far too long.

Michelle really looked after me, so professional.And Dr,s and consultant put me to sleep n resus to put brace on my broken arm.Still in pain, but better than it was. Be proud of your staff as dd an excellent job.x

Adequate pain relief, as very painful to take home.But everyone was fantastic, tey a worked really well with the high volume of service users.

I was treated with respect during my visit. And given information about the findings of my MRI scan

I was there several hours without a drink or food. No one could work the vending machine. That’s the only downside.

It’s a rare occasion for me to go to a&e, I was very impressed. Receptionist was really lovely and approachable, nurse and HCA were polite and thorough and the doctor kind, gentle, polite and professional. I didn’t feel rushed and was listened to with patience. Could not have asked for better care, it was smooth and quick.

The only thing I would say, which is nothing to do with the staff, is that directly outside the door was a male and a female that seemed like they were either a little high or drunk were asking for money at the door, as a female, on my own, at 1am with nobody around outside, this is a little intimidating. If I said no, who knows what could have happened, maybe nothing, but I gave some change anyway not wanting to upset anyone. Perhaps security doing the rounds would help.

Full marks for A&E. I was treated with kindness and professionalism throughout and would like to thank all staff for taking great care of me.

I don’t think you could have done any better, especially as Monday night was particularly busy. It’s a shame to consider that perhaps not everyone attending needed treatment at A&E that night. However, there were some serious cases that were triaged appropriately. DPOW A&E couldn’t have dealt with things any better

Streamlined process so I didn’t have to repeat my story
