It was a long wait to see a doctor - about 5 hours but he was very efficient and sorted me out with an ENT appointment which I urgently needed. Staff were friendly and reassuring.

Seen me a bit quicker - a long wait after triage.

Anything directly related to clinical procedure was superb. Once it was underway I knew I was in the best hands, and I was treated with dignity and respect. The rest feels like people are doing their best to keep it together, but don't have the time to take a step back and ask themselves, "Is this working well for patients?"

If I could focus on one thing, it's the signs and notices that festoon every surface. There seems to be ittle thought given to where the notices need to be, and no consistent design language (forgive the jargon) to indicate relative importance. Two specific examples: A "Do Not Proceed Past This Point Until We Tell You To" sign in A&E, placed between waiting area and reception. You forgot to add the vital words "-- except to report your arrival". My autism is high functioning enough that I could figure that out for myself, but if my thinking had been impaired by my medical emergency, I may well have just quietly taken a seat and waited indefinitely for someone to notice me. I understand why janitorial staff would place "Put a lid on your liquids" notices in the thoroughfares where the problem of spills and slips is most apparent, but would it not make more sense to put the signs in the places where they'll be read and acted on, where people pause to gather the liquids?

The a&e department was extremely busy. However the staff were working tirelessly to help everyone. There was a constant stream of patients being treated. The reception staff were very efficient. After a short wait (given how busy it was) I saw a nurse who was very pleasant and received great care. Then I was seen by a resident doctor who was very thorough. I then needed to see a specialist who arrived in excellent time and my problem was sorted. Everyone was very concise in the information they gave. The care level was magnificent. All areas (except a small area by the entrance) were very clean. Overall I was very impressed with the speed and level of care I received.

Due to the building work the a&e entrance is currently hidden and better signage is needed. Especially from the patient drop off point near main hospital.

The care my son received yesterday was fantastic, thank you. The knowledge the doctor had of our sons rare genetic disorder made us feel he was in safe hands. The student doctor, the nurses and paramedics were also amazing.

The only issue is a lack of phone signal to let family members know what’s going on, not really an issue in the scheme of things.

Everyone who dealt with me treated me kindly and with respect, however the receptionist on arrival was very rude and made me feel like I wasn't poorly enough to be stood infront of her.

The doctor was not, 3 hours waiting for the doctor with a baby and the doctor was just walking around doing nothing, when he came to see us he was very cocky didn’t even look at my sons paperwork to see what was wrong and didn’t examine him. Babies should be first priority, he went off looked at the paperwork afterwards then came back in and sent us home,

Get better doctors who actually no what they are doing

I was in with a personal problem. I was given privacy and respect at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. Both day and night staff.

More availability of drinks. We were there along time and could have done with more drinks even if it was water

They did well with my daughter but I feel like she didn’t get a thorough diagnosis on what was wrong with her as she’s been really poorly for a good week now and is still not improving

Looked more into why my child isn’t well as I feel like there is an underlying issue that is making her so poorly
