I was beyond pleased with the care I had on maternity for the whole week! The student nurses especially made me feel so involved! A special thank you to Danielle student midwife who I was her case study and also Nurse Tina, and the two ladies who took over on the night shift!
The doctor who helped me deliver was beyond amazing! Through out my stay the midwives were so kind to me and I honestly felt safe I’m their care. I was actually sad not to see them again.
Suggested improvements
I wish my husband could of stayed longer as o really struggled the first few nights but that was not their fault was of Covid rules.

It was well organised even in busy times.. staff were busy but always on hand to help

I noticed a room opposite to myself was used about 5/6 times without any wiping down in between patients which was a bit disturbing as we are going through a pandemic still

All staff were friendly and welcoming. They understood I was anxious and were very reassuring and understanding. They offered help/assistance and even fed and watered me! The environment was quite, calm and very clean. Their professionalism made me feel that they knew exactly what they were doing, which was comforting.

Cannot {} anything, stay has been very good.

The registered nursing staff were very good and compassionate, but some of the HCA's were blunt./nDoctors and nurses lovely.
Suggested improvements
HCA's - do not listen to requests and it takes forever to get something./nI asked for painkillers at 15.15 hours and I finally got them at 18.30 on 4/6/21. I found this unacceptable, I also asked for a fan which I did not get.
