All staff were extremely kind, professional and caring. Explained plan of care throughout. Dr Gall, Reedah, Mr Bazoua, Sabrina & Evie we’re amazing as were Mary, Ella, Patrick, Lucy, Paige, Gill, Debbie & Claude. Sorry if I’ve forgot anyone x
The receptionist was very rude and questioned why I was there loudly for all to hear. Saying why I have I come to spreading my germs, everyone in the waiting area was staring. Then when she was taking me to a room told me to hurry up walking even though I could barely walk. I was sent by 111 with on going covid symptoms that I couldn’t cope with. I was placed in a room for over an hour with no observation no bed, nothing given to me.
It was only when one of the nurses came around a kind gentleman that got me sorted and even he was confused why I had been left so long with no care. Other than the receptionist unwelcome and disgust everything else was good.
All the staff were kind and considerate. I was kept informed about what was happening and before I was discharged, I was fully briefed by the doctor about my condition. Excellent service.
Staff were all hardworking and dedicated to the profession
I was treated by Andria and she quickly put me at ease, her experience and professional expertise was immediately apparent and my problem was very quickly dealt with, so a big personal thank you!
The doctor, Friday, did all he thought was necessary for my little girl. Unfortunately after discharge she was sick in the pharmacy. The pharmacist took us back to A&E and this was were our wait was. Unfortunately we were missed checked in. We were put in a side room in a rush to clean my little girl up I can see how we were missed.
The day I attended was a very busy day and going through the system took nearly 8 hours way out of NHS targets.
The staff were very understanding, kind and professional.
The treatment was excellent but the conditions were not conducive to wellbeing. Waiting outside the building for two hours in the cold, imminent showers and no chairs.
The receptionist was very unpolite to me and shouted that she couldn't hear me. She was very rude when asking me my details. I had breathing issues and chronic anxiety i was confused and in pain so i couldn't answer her.
However the Dr looking after me was so very kind and looked at me when he was talking to me. When he gave me my results he sat down next to me as i was anxious and confused.
There was no triage what so ever, I felt some patients needed more immediate care before me, for example a toddler actively bleeding was told they were not allowed in front of us.
Due to arriving with an intense migraine, disorientation and lack of balance no care was given, due to ring told the amount of time even being triaged ( 2 1/2hrs) and then seeing a doctor (5 1/2 hrs) I could not cope with the lighting or the noise within A&E, therefore I ended up leaving as it was making everything worse which resulted in my mother not sleeping as she had to keep an eye on me.
The attitude of the staff was unprofessional, uncaring and down right rude, although as I work within the hospital I do understand how overworked they are and understaffed but that does not explain their attitude towards patients
