Doctors listened to previous medical issues we have had with Erin, as she has quite a lot going on.
Staff were cautious and thorough and I was reassured that my son was receiving excellent care.
Nurses spoke to him with a kind, friendly voice and he felt safe and happy.
Each stage explained in appropriate language.
Rapid response to problems from all staff medical and catering.
From ringin III, arriving in A and E, then going onto the ward, having an operation and recovering Lewis's care has been truly first class. This was a difficult period but the staff were friendly and helpful at all times and were very professional. I was kept well informed and felt listened to. All the nurses helped make the staff in hospital bearable and they were always approachable, even when very busy. The doctors too, were brilliant at every surgical team who are amazing under the most difficult circumstances. I'm truly proud of the and, not for the first time. I feel very lucky that we have it's difficult to single anyone out, as everyone was super but I know that Lewis would want me to mention Jenny, in particular who looked after him the most, by also Cheryl who helped him on the Saturday night when pain he had was at its worst.
Thanks to Tracy too.
Excellent care given at all times.
Short stay but can tell how lovely the girls are and I don't think any improvements are needed.
Communications good- nursing care good.
Food service seemed a bit erratic with mix-ups.
Staff seemed very rushed.
Responded quickly to an emergency which arose with another patient.
I felt really well looked after the whole time I was here.
Didn't make me feel embarrassed.
This was my first surgery. All staff helped prevent me being more anxious than I needed to be, extremely professional and caring.
