Review of Hospice @ Home written by a carer
19th May 2021

I am unsure how my husband felt as he was mainly asleep when they were here. But I know if he was able to say he would of given them top marks.

Suggested improvements
The only thing I could say is that we could of had your services sooner. He passed away after only three visits, I must say they were all brilliant.

The staff concerned were most friendly, caring and patient my husband, though very poorly treated them.

Suggested improvements
On the whole everything was very pleasing and we liked the calm, caring attitude of the majority of the staff.

Although hosicoe at home were with us a few days before he died, (husband) the nurses were very caring and professional, communication was compassionate and respectful and appreciated greatly by myself and my family.

Review of Lymphoedema Palliative Care Team
11th May 2021

I have been attending this Clinic for a while as had Breast Cancer complications with swelling, cellulitis and chronic pain, these names I am providing are the ladies I have seen up till now Jayne My Lovely Nurse and Julie the lovely lady I speak to regularly for my appointments. These two ladies are a credit to the NHS. They are both especially good with my vulnerability as I am not feeling great most of the time, but they reassure me by telephone (Julie) that I will be safe and secure visiting this unit. Julie has a very soothing voice when she is on the phone to me so I have great confidence. Jayne is the most caring and compassionate Nurse I have seen through this pandemic. She is so very lovely and amazing at her job as feel the effects of the treatment that she has provided to me so far. She is especially good at securing my entry to the unit also as not very confident however this has now become a lot better with her caring nature. These two ladies are all I have met so far. I have more treatment to follow in July so will have other ladies from this unit which I am sure will follow in Jaynes guidance when I arrive and begin the treatment. What amazing awesome lovely ladies. A huge clap from my home to them.

Suggested improvements
Omg nothing/ nowt as hubby would say in his Yorkshire accent. They are doing the most wonderful job at this unit.

This service at this clinic is outstanding and I feel like the member of staff who treats me really cares. She is incredibly compassionate and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
