We have been made to very welcome and included at Cynthia Spencer Day Hospice. The team are all caring, understanding and go out of their way to make you feel part of the group.
The programme of subjects has been varied and informative and any questions raised have been treated with respect and honesty.
We have enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people, who are managing a range of challenges and it has been helpful to be able to talk and exchange ideas with them. We will miss our weekly visits.

The service and care given to my husband was excellent. The nurses were so kind and caring, and offered lots of practical help and aids, but also helped to cheer him up by just chatting to him about his interests. They included the family, children and grandchildren in their support. Initially I felt guilty accepting help, but the nurses made me realize that it was good, and necessary, for me to have a break too.

Patient has experienced great pain for a year with various ops inc radical surgery. Many admissions to hospitals Leicester and NYH and sadly a couple of issues were experienced causing more crust and pain. At the Cynthia Spencer Hospice it is for him a place of utter place and staff all are very kind and compassionate.

Everything was excellent about the care given and I can't suggest any improvements.
Every single one of the nurses, caregivers and support workers was exceptional both with the care of our mum and the support to my wife and I.
From the day a Cynthia Spencer nurse visited to instigate the hospice at home programme support came in from all directions and it all felt like it was designed especially for us.
Stunning service, were so grateful, you should all be very proud.
