Friendly caring staff.
Lovely bluebell walk.
The treatment that I have received from Helen has been excellent. Also, the staff making the initial appointment were helpful. What is a joy is if I ring with a query then I do receive a response, as promised. The treatment has been positive and I always leave feeling I have been cared for.
The change of name to a Wellbeing Centre is a very positive one and a good change. The first time at a a Day Hospice is daunting but being called a Wellbeing Centre makes it more welcoming.
It would help if the car park was larger as it can take time to park.
Thank you for your feedback. It is pleasing to hear of the positive response to the change of name to Wellbeing as we feel it provides a different focus to our work. We are continuing to work on the car parking by ensuring staff who attend courses are asked to park further down the road.
All of the staff treated me with kindness and nothing was too much bother. It's a pity the hospice is understaffed.
The only let down to this wonderful service was on one occasion and rang bell to be let in - staff were busy that day so took rather a long time, after repeatedly trying to use bell to be let in still no answer about ten mins had passed. We knocked on the "Matrons" window so she could let us in. She did then let us in.
We felt sorry for the staff as they do such a good job and believe this should be identified.
Thank you for your feedback, we have communicated with staff to ensure that they answer the front door call bell as soon as possible. Unfortunately, if the team are involved with patient care, this can delay the response times to the front door call bell.
Your help, care and compassion you gave to myself as a daughter and carer for my mother at my time of need I cannot thank you enough and I am sure my mother would only agree with what I have said. She sadly died at your hospice but the care given was absolutely brilliant.
I also thank staff and hospice for special concern they show to the carers as sometimes you think you are on your own but the support they gave me was wonderful. Grace Timson deceased Maureen Hill (daughter and carer)
In the short time the nurses visited my mum they were all wonderful and so caring thank you.
