I’m totally satisfied with the latest visit experience had with health visitor Ms. Tina Whitehand.
She is very kind, generous person and shared many useful information. Although we are new to the town and county, we didn’t feel it because of her friendly approach.
Hip pain gradually getting worse
Diagnosed last year with Osteoarthritis of the Knees following pain etc for a couple of years, especially going up and down stairs and in colder months. Episodes of Back pain (following Discectomy 30 years ago), that I can usually remedy myself, but was unable to this time round. Therefore contacted GP who recommended Self Referral for Physiotherapy (plus painkillers) for Spinal Stenosis. I am Primary Carer for a family member and I feel the physical aspects of this (i.e. using a ReTurn) could have exacerbated the issue.
The service from reception to the treatment team was exceptionally good.
The doctor and nurse was very nice to my son they kept talking to him when he felt abit unsure and worried.
Had a nice chat, made me feel comfortable.

Carole was lovely and made me feel comfortable to talk about difficult topics. Carole also explained services to me that I was not sure that the HV team offered.
Needed breastfeeding support with 3 week old baby. Were told my HIV was available for a week and to use NCT. When I did see HIV she made me feel I was using resources I did not need and that we were not a priority. She repeatedly said 'I do not need to see you again'.
