When using peer support I wasn't really sure what to expect, or even sure if I wanted to use the service. What I did find was two supportive and caring people in [name removed] and [name removed] who were there to listen and offer insight when needed. Their kindness and experience shone through and helped me verbalise things I almost wasn't even aware I wanted to get out in the open and talk about. I could not recommend their service and them in particular more as it brought me clarity in a very dark time.

The rooms offered to talk in could be a bit cramped and kind of felt shoved out the way, a dedicated room to feel more comfortable and welcoming could be beneficial to bring more out of people. I think would benefit the teams already outstanding work.

My daughter was very reluctant and scared. The nurse appreciated my daughter’s feelings and also my wishes for her to have the vaccination and helped to make my daughter feel comfortable and encouraged her.

It wasn’t clear what to do on arrival at the centre and it was difficult to know who was next in the queue as it was busy.

[name removed] was absolutely incredible, The way she was with my child, the difference I have seen in him, She will have a very special place in our lives for years to come and I will be forever thankful to her for teaching my son how to cope in difficult situations! I learnt alot myself too and can carry this through life with me. She is a real credit to you and an asset to to the world.

Respectful polite nurse. Very competent

Was a bit unsure what to do when we arrived as no reception area. Could have done with info in text message in advance to explain the set up. Not a problem in the end though

Very well organized. Leaders were very approachable and cared. Activities enabled my daughter to try new things and socialize. Would highly recommend.
