Staff very good, excellent at there job 10/10.
Focossed what could change good advice for change loading to better health.
I was treated well by all the members of staff that dealt with me. They talked me through what problems I had and helped me understand them and get through them, I can't fault them on the service they provided
I anticipated that the treatment would take a lot longer that it did.
I have been made to feel comfortable by my specialist and treated with great kindness and consideration during my several appointments.
My MS nurse is just the best. Full of knowledge without being over the top. She lets me talk about the things that matter or concern me. At no time does she dictate how my half an hour appointment is spent. I want to talk about my MS - fine , if not that's also okay because just being treated as more than my illness is the best medicine for me.
She has empathy and really listens to what i have to say. She supports me in actively managing my own condition the way i want to. She advises, suggests and informs. She gets annoyed at the medication restrictions that might help me but i can't have because NICE has said it's not financial good sense and my PCT won't fund anyway.
All in all half an hour twice a year is never enough but i thank God she is there for me and others like me, only a phone call away between appointments, bolstering me up through the bad times and laughing with me through the good times.
The only improvements that could be made is not my MS nurse but the archaic building we have to meet in. No automatic doors for wheelchair access and out of date 'disabled' toilet facilities.
To be able to talk with someone who really understands and will listen and believe your sometimes wierd symptom ie feels like things crawling under my skin, no look of derision just understanding which gp's and from my experience dr's in hospital cannnot give you. They make this iinvisible illness bareable and find you ways to individually deal with each unique problem. They are so accessable too, which means a great deal with this unpredictable desease. I for one could not cope without Debbie, she has helped me through very dark places and to come to terms with who I am and not what this makes me. I cannot praise then enough. I rarely visit my G.p , which must take alot of pressure off him, I hope the practises realise what a marvellous job your doing. Please keep it up so those of us with m.s the invisible desease feel like at least someone sees us. Many thanks
Excellent treatment.
Treated as an individual and with kindness. Was made to feel at ease.
Recommend how to continue to care for self in between treatment appointment.
Staff was very polite and courteous.
