I've been under various disciplines at the Circle as a patient and have also seen it as a family member and have been very happy with the care that I have received from everyone from the front desk team through to the nursing staff and clinicians. On one occasion I did have cause to make quite a serious complaint and it was dealt with in a timely and compassionate manner which has kept my level of trust in the hospital; things won't always go to plan but it's how these situations are dealt with that's important. I'd certainly recommend the Circle and am very glad that it's so local.
Attending the Circle for appointments makes you feel less nervous than the RBH.
Lovely environment - efficient, caring staff.
Six months on from total hip replacement and about time I said thank you to the team at the Circle. Pre and post op care was exceptional. All the consultants were informative and patient. I never felt rushed or just part of the system. All appointments pre-op were bang on time, no waiting, x-rays were pretty much instant, viewing the results with the surgeon five minutes later. The hospital is more like a hotel, with your own room, tv, choice of food at mealtimes, someone always there when needed. Meds were delivered on time so pain post op was never an issue. I actually found the whole experience very relaxing. Thanks to all the team. Well done
Great hospital and great staff
The hospital staff made my ordeal of having knee surgery as pleasant as it could be by being kind, attentive and sensitive. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Thank you.
Very clean and modern hospital, good location but could benefit from more car parking.
A very pleasant environment to be treated in. Only issue is the lack of car parking in the car park and surrounding area
I stayed overnight at Circles Reading, the staff nurses are really great people. And very friendly. The hospital recovery rooms are very clean.
My surgeon was Robert Almeyda who is one of the greatest ENT specialists in the UK
Over the last couple of years I have suffered with osteoarthritis in my left knee, it became so painful I could barely walk, it was most debilitating. After my GP referred me to a consultant, I was seen by Mr Ashwin Unnithan at The Circle in Reading, from the first meeting where we discussed the condition and subsequent meetings to agree the next steps, Mr Unnithan was absolutely first class. He spent time explaining exactly what the process would be and we discussed all of the various options which were largely dependant on what was discovered during the diagnosis stage. I underwent an exploratory operation so we had a clearer idea of the condition and extent of the arthritis, this enabled an informed decision to be made as regards the next step. I found Mr Unnithan measured, reassuring and extremely knowledgeable and thanks to him ( and some will power) I am feeling much better, in far less pain and confident that we will make the right decisions in future with my condition.
Great experience - a bit like checking into a 4 star hotel.
Very pleasant receptionists and a clean, light & modern waiting area like being in a hotel lounge.
Great to be able to park easily as well.
