I was shown care and dignity. All my questions were answered so I understood all that was going on.

I was treated with respect and kindness in all but some of the staff a bit not very kind especially at night shifts and there was too much noise that made me not sleep quite well enough.
We are sorry you found the ward noisy at times. This is a difficulty with the nature of the ward and is something we struggle to change depending on the patient group. We do try and encourage a calm environment and will work with patients to try and help them achieve a calmer environment when they are in hospital. I am sorry you found staff at night less kind and have shared these comments with the team. It is expected that you be treated with kindness and respect by all staff during your stay and if for any reason you are not we would encourage you discuss this with your named nurse or the ward matron to address this.

Thank you for your review I am pleased to hear that you found the staff kind and friendly I will make sure I will pass this onto to them. The reason we treat at 60% is because this is an effective dose for rTMS without causing too much discomfort, we have published data on our outcomes for rTMS using 60% this shows superior remission rates when compared to American data using 120% of RMT. New TMS machines are now being produced where the machine can only deliver 70%. I do hope this provides you will more information to help your understanding of our protocols and treatment plans.
