Thank you for your review. All patient leave is dependent on risk which would have been a decision made by the Ward Consultant. I am sorry if you felt that you were not given enough leave whilst on the ward.

well mannered staff, polite and willing.
I feel that after my stay on Marina ward I am far more able to recognise I needed and still need to take full responsibility for my actions and that I can make my own decisions. There was no need for me to be there for so long and I could easily have been discharged now had I kept myself to myself. To be fair I am having my medication altered now which I am comfortable with. Marina staff went above and beyond their limits to facilitate my needs in terms of occupational therapy and is the least restrictive ward I've been on for over a decade. This worked both positively and negatively for me as the kindness from the team I may have taken for weakness and I may have misbehaved because of this as well as got involved in arguments I shouldn't have.

We feel that all the staff are patients enough to explain when we ask about questions. They are not in a rush.
