On this occasion I had an appointment the next day which in my case was totally acceptable. Other appointments for routine blood tests for diabetes and nurse follow up appointments are usually a much longer wait.

Suggested improvements
I was completely satisfied with my consultation. The only negative thing I can say is that I had to return later in the day for my prescription as the doctor was not available to sign my prescription.

It's difficult to get appointments unless you are prepared to wait weeks.

Suggested improvements
I contacted the surgery with 2 issues. When I saw the doctor he would only deal with 1 of problems and said I would need too make another appointment for the other.. Why wasn't I given a double appointment or 2 appointments ? I clearly stated I had 2 issues. Now I have to wait another 3.5 weeks to speak to someone which just adds to the worry and will probably make the problem worse. Do the reception staff not know this ?

Thank you for your feedback, it is really important that patients explain the reason for their appointment to our Care Navigators (including if they wish to discuss more than one thing), so that the appropriate amount of time can be allocated within our appointments system. I am very sorry to hear that this was not reflected in your experience. We are reviewing all feedback to see if there are opportunities to improve our patients experience, so would like to thank you for taking the time to share yours.

I was able to get a face to face appointment without difficulty & only waited a short time. My appointment was thorough & did not feel rushed. I felt I was given good advice & strategies to manage my pain. I appreciated the follow-up text from the GP with suitable exercises for my condition.

Suggested improvements
Nothing comes to mind.

I have a severe hearing difficulty which means I can’t use the phone to make an appointment therefore I have to turn up at the surgery to make one and it is sometimes difficult to get a speedy appointment.

Suggested improvements
It would be great if patients were allowed a little longer with a doctor of their choice and also if they were permitted to discuss more than one problem in that consultation
