I had to wait 2 weeks for a doctor's telephone appointment when I was alarmed by my symptoms. However I was seen in person shortly after this telephone appointment which is reassurring.

Saw Physio, staff helpful when made appointment and running late due to traffic they were very helpful. Physio excellent, knew straight away how to help, listened didn’t talk over me and gave great advice. Exercises sent within the hour and I know that if no change can ring and see him again. Ankle feeling better and also discussed medications for my knee and future plans.

I had already booked my appointment with the nursing assistant. For routine appointments, it is easier to book over the phone.

I have always found the staff to be welcoming and caring and never feel rushed. I have no complaints about my care only praise for the nursing team.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
