Fairly easy to get through for an appointment with 2 day delay to see my doctor
Just a blood and it went quickly and smoothly
When I arrived on the 11th December I checked in with the receptionist (female) and she said yes I’m booked in and to take a seat. Later when the nurse called me she said that I hadn’t been checked in but called me anyway which lucky that she did as I might have been waiting ages that is why I only gave reception 2 stars.
However, the nurse was very nice, friendly and no problems there. I was only having a blood test for my Diabetes.
Calm, professional and friendly, really felt looked after. Thanks!
Firstly my HRT repeat prescriptions were removed from my app without any communication. Then I was given a review appointment with the pharmacist who failed to call me on either of my numbers. I called the clinic who checked my file and said I should have been booked with a GP. When I finally saw a GP I explained what I needed to which she agreed to redo a prescription for 3 months but the prescription was incorrect.
On a positive note when I called the clinic again the receptionist and a different Doctor sorted the problem out swiftly.
This whole situation took almost 2 weeks to sort from my first point of contact. I appreciate there is a lot of pressure on the system but there appears to be poor communication with patients and between staff when things change, to ensure the correct person is seen in a timely manner.
