The triage online system seems a little cumbersome. There are a lot of tickbox questions that may apply or may not. The timeframe to complete means you inevitably rush it. Later I received a text with an appointment time/date, which was good but as soon as I acknowledged that as requested I received another saying my case was closed. That latter text was confusing as I wasn’t sure what exactly it meant.
Long waiting times.
Receptionist that answered my call was rude, did not give her name and was huffing and puffing down the phone as I was trying to explain what was wrong. She made it sound like it was hard work just to ask for help. Did not tell me if I would be having a face to face appointment or if I was going to be called back which meant I had to take a day off work to wait for a phone call or message as to what was going to be happening.
Was treated very well by very lovely staff , my only comment about getting an appointment is the phone lines are always busy even at 8 am , taken over an hour to get through then no appointment s .
I was lucky to get to see a nurse and doctor who were amazing but it shouldn't be so hard to see one . I totally respect all staff and understand there are procedures. It's seems a very long winded way to book a appointment.
Long gone are the days we knew our doctors and they knew us and families.
Was not offered appointment
