The surgery has recently opted for repeat prescriptions online, which as a patient leaves us in the air as to whether you've received it or not - is it possible to confirm prescription received and being dealt with and if there is a query can you notify me? My last prescription was received by you but not filled as you considered it too early. You weren't aware I was going on holiday and I wasn't aware you were going to delay it so we were both guilty of a breakdown in communication which resulted in my waiting at the Little Common Pharmacy only to be referred back to yourselves. Luckily I had given myself adequate time because you are no doubt aware, prescription waiting times have drastically increased and as a patient I feel more comfortable waiting at least 5 working days to collect. Unfortunately other patients needs are more urgent and the change in waiting times regrettably lends itself to a volatile atmosphere in the pharmacy and it is evident this is placing your patients and the pharmacy staff under great pressure.
