Personally as a family we really don’t ask for an appointment with a doctor unless all other methods of self treatment through a pharmacist have failed but we find it so frustrating to have to then just have a telephone appointment then maybe a prescription issued then if that fails you are then given an appointment. Just feel like so many problems patients have could result in them feeling like us and giving up on trying to be seen and that could end up being a such a tragedy for both patient and their doctor. On saying all this I can’t fault them for their recent response to a problem I have had which has resulted in being seen rapidly.

Suggested improvements
So many friends have shared the same problems and frustrations at each of their own surgeries so I guess it’s just sadly the way it is now.
