I was called for a routine appointment so could book an appointment on line. Very easy. However recently I needed to see a doctor but couldn’t get through on the telephone for a long time. When I did get through there were no appointments left. I was in tears as was unwell so the receptionist found a way so that a doctor could ring me in the afternoon. Doctor rang at 11, was on the phone less than 2 minutes. Prescription sent to pharmacy.
Suggested improvements
- Reintroduce advance appointment system.
- In line with above, introduce an online booking system for some slots.
- Have more slots for telephone consultations for immediate or urgent calls for those who may not need to be seen.
- Keep E-consult it’s good
