I usually have the best experience in my practice but not this time. I arrived 3 minutes ealier (8.47) and my appointment was supposed to be at 8.50. After the receptionist checks me in she warmly looks me in the eyes and say "You may wait at the car parking, please". I stare at her like are you being serious? And she says "oh! You don't have a car? In that case, you can stay inside". I thank her not too sure what to think and go seat. The MD calls me in and we have the whole consultation time him standing and me seating. He seats to prescribe some drugs and voila! He is not letting me say a word, he knows it all. I get out from that place in complete shock asking myself What the heck was that? At some point I am thinking, is it because I am black? I had a lot of concerns I couldn't share with my GP and went back with them. So that was my experience! Great care!

Not treat me like I was less then a human would be a good start

I attended today after several weeks of me deferring making an appointment. Made an appointment online and several were available for times I was free. This made it easier for me to arrange around my work and home commitments. Open and informative consultation. Further test which was able to be accommodated on the day. I may not have come back if not able to be done there and then so grateful there was availability and time. Blood test booked for following week. Hospital referral made on the day and booked. Offer to return to the practice to discuss options following referral outcome and presentation in general. Reassurance from all the practitioners. I could not fault the service from all the team today Thank you.

Maybe the waiting area could be more inviting. This is not essential and did not affect my visit. I heard someone else comment on the dismantled desk in there.

I always feel valued, respected and involved in decisions about my care, it is truly a patient centred approach. I have confidence in and regard for all the team. The receptionists are so warm, caring and friendly which sets the tone for the practice which carries through to all practitioners.

I had a lot of problems with mental health issues they are the best practice i have ever being to . the reception team are friendly and always listen take their time to get the right doctor . Plus the doctors and mental health person Chris helped me with answers and explained steps to seek the right care and helped with a referral to hopefully get the treatment I need as no other practice has ever listened to me about my mental health over the years .

Everything is great I am happy with the service they are a good practice

Keele Practice is the best GP practice I have ever attended. They are always helpful and efficient.
