I telephoned for a reason not connected to obtaining an appt. Having read in The Tweet that the Surgery would be commencing vaccinations for winter 'flu and Covid I asked for an appointment which was duly given. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.I would not have known these vaccines were available had I not read about in the Tweet.
I rang up at 8.00am on the 1st September to book my vaccinations as I am extremely critally vulnerable, and got a 9 06am slot as I needed to covered from the viruses.
There were a few technical problems at first but sorted quickly no problem thank you.
My husband is very unwell and the surgery managed to fit us in earlier than we would been for treatment.
General experience
Although you sometimes have to queue on the phone the receptionists are always helpful, polite and cheerful and I had no difficulty getting an appointment for this procedure - the lady who did the procedure was very pleasant and I had a good result.
