I think it has become easier recently. In this instance, the suggestion of an appointment came from the surgery, triggering by my request for compression stockings.
It is more difficult to get an appointment when it’s the patient who wants a consultation than it is when a doctor or nurse initiates the process.
I saw a nurse who was polite, professional and friendly and she gave excellent advice to manage my condition.

Good handling by the reception team. My appointment had to be rearranged at short notice due Staff sickness. As a result I did NOT have a waisted trip to the surgery. Thanks for being on top of the daily issues.
