Dr Lazarus was excellent, I felt she listened well, was honest and respectful, and genuinely cares about getting to the bottom of my illness. Both receptionists I spoke with were helpful and friendly. The one thing that could be improved is the wait time for appointments with a GP and then a nurse for a blood test. I work away from Calne so I need this to be at either end of the day. In summary, excellent standard of care and interactions with patients are very good. Ease of fitting appointments around a demanding work life could be improved. Overall, I'm impressed with Beversbrook Surgery, Dr Lazarus and the receptionists. Thank you to them all.

Original appointment (which was booked weeks in advance) was slipped by 2 hours and then upon arrival was told running late. Had to sit for an hour before actually seeing the doctor. This was my first appointment, not a good start...

Hello there, I am sorry to hear that your first experience with Beversbrook Medical Centre was not a good one. This is of course regrettable and not up to the standard which we strive for. Sometimes clinics do run late due to emergencies or if a patient before you requires more than their ten minute appointment time but I am pleased to see that you were informed of this fact by Reception when you arrived. We audit our waiting times regularly and during the month of April our average waiting time is 11 minutes. We always look for opportunities to learn from patient feedback and I would like to investigate the problems you have mentioned here further. I went online to book an appointment and found it was pretty booked up but I managed to book to see a nurse. The surgery receptionist called me back with a cancellation to see the Head Practitioner Nurse when they heard the reason for the appointment. When I attended, it was felt I should see a doctor too which was hastily arranged. The surgery was exemplary at dealing with my health issue. I was quickly advised about what to do and it was wonderful to have my issue escalated due to its nature. Thank you so much. I feel very grateful that I am lucky to be registered at this surgery. It has definitely got busier over the time I have been registered - clearly showing its great reputation!
