The receptionists are excellent and always do what they can to help . It can sometimes be three weeks before an appointment , which is frustrating , but when an urgent appointment is needed , they ensure that you get one .
All staff listen to you and work with you to reassure and make sure that you are happy .
I have never had a negative experience there . I feel totally happy with the practice and trust all members of staff .
Staff are always friendly and willing to help. Receptionists are willing to discuss the various appointments available and are considerate about work hours and children's school hours. Doctors are willing to take the time to talk through issues as well as offering telephone consultations for minor issues to reduce my waiting time in the surgery. Very much appreciated!
I was seen by Dr. Mather, who quickly examined my damaged thumbnail and decided to quickly transfer me to the duty nurse, for half hour later. She decided that it could only be safely bound up and let it heal itself. Both took care and did the best they could with my very sore thumb! Thanks to both of them!
My mother inlaw attended the surgery as she had numerous times for her inr bloods. She is 84 years old and as she doesn't give blood very easy it normal takes a couple of trys, which she has always been happy with. And so have the old nurses who have now left. When she went this week the nurses that saw my mother in law refused to take her blood the second time of trying and was rudely told to go to bath hospital. Was then told we have never taken bloods here and is not not there job to do so. I think its absolutely disgusting how some one can treat a patient in this way. Her daughter rang the practice manager to say how upset mum was and that she couldn't get to bath as she is disabled and struggles to walk only to be told what do you want me to do about it. Take her to Swindon. I have written to cqc now so they can deal with this. We have now removed mum from the surgery and taken her to another surgery. I will not stand for her being treated she badly. Or anyone else for that matter.
Very pleased with how how I was looked after on Tuesday 10/01/17.
