My mother inlaw attended the surgery as she had numerous times for her inr bloods. She is 84 years old and as she doesn't give blood very easy it normal takes a couple of trys, which she has always been happy with. And so have the old nurses who have now left. When she went this week the nurses that saw my mother in law refused to take her blood the second time of trying and was rudely told to go to bath hospital. Was then told we have never taken bloods here and is not not there job to do so. I think its absolutely disgusting how some one can treat a patient in this way. Her daughter rang the practice manager to say how upset mum was and that she couldn't get to bath as she is disabled and struggles to walk only to be told what do you want me to do about it. Take her to Swindon. I have written to cqc now so they can deal with this. We have now removed mum from the surgery and taken her to another surgery. I will not stand for her being treated she badly. Or anyone else for that matter.
