Although normally we always have excellent service from Drs etc. we waited an extra 45 minutes yesterday for our appointment as the Drs were running behind. Fortunately I have a patient (literally!!!) 6 year old!!!

Thank you for your feedback - I am disappointed to hear that you were waiting this long. Sometimes a long wait is unavoidable, depending on emergencies and whether or not patients before you have taken up more than their allocated appointment duration, but I would hope that my Reception colleagues would keep you updated with what is causing the delay. We would also happily offer you the opportunity to visit the park with your 6 year old and we would be able to text you when you were next to be called, if possible. I hope you were offered these options but if not please do contact me at emmybutcher@nhs.net or 01249 821831 so that I can use it as a training need for the appropriate staff members. In the meantime, I am pleased to hear that it is an excellent wait time normally and that this incident is an exception, rather than the norm. Once again, thanks for your feedback.
