I have phoned several times , once when I had covid symptoms, and this time trying to book a blood test. I have hung up after half an hour. Finally got through today and have to wait 8days to book a blood test prior to a hospital appointment. Receptionist unhelpful and unfriendly.

Suggested improvements
When the system answers the call, the minutes start deducting on my pay as you go, with no idea of how many are in the queue. The old way of getting an engaged tone was financially more cost effective. Having a falsely cheery person repeatedly saying that your call is important to us is just a wind up.
