It is now two days since I referred my symptoms to 111 online. After speaking to a nurse and a clinician at NHS 111 I was told my GP surgery would phone me within working hours yesterday. A day later and still no call but I have been asked to complete this survey. I have made several attempts to contact my surgery in the last year. Phones take anything up to an hour, email responses take 3/4 days if they respond at all and even my routine requests for repeat medications have been delayed in 4 of the last 5 months, on one occasion meaning I had no BP medicines for 2 days and my own readings for my BP went sky high. When we moved from London in 2018 we were very impressed with the surgery but since it joined with Patford House everything has been a disaster. Apart from this current referral I have a few other issues I want to refer to my GP. I don’t know if they’re serious and it might end up being too late if they are!
