I used the DrLink app for the first time and found it clear and easy to understand . I was informed via the app that I needed an appointment within 24 hours and that it would make one for me . After about 3 hours I hadn’t heard so contacted the surgery . The receptionist was lovely but said that I had to book via the app. When I explained that I had, she then apologised and booked me an appointment for the same day . Even though there was a 45 min delay for my appointment , the nurse was thorough and kind . However , the outcome of my appointment is that I need to see a GP and have blood tests . These have been booked in over the next 2 weeks , but it seems that the APP is a bit pointless at the minute as I had to ring to make an appointment anyway and I still need to see a GP. Service at the surgery was excellent as usual.
