Visits always clinically satisfactory and practitioners, whilst always busy, generally take professional but friendly attention and demonstrate empathy in their approach however administrative is something rather poor.
Reception staff courteous.
Doctors show interest, listen to their patients and give qualified assessments.
Appointments are usually available even if not always with your appointed doctor.
I have been attending this surgery for over 30 years and have always found the doctors and other staff to be caring, helpful and obliging. The really great thing, compared with many over surgeries I have heard about, is that I have ALWAYS been able to get an appointment with a doctor the same day! I will say that it is necessary to call up promptly at 8am, when the lines open, but hey, that is a small price to pay!
As a footnote, I do get very angry at the ill informed criticism put about by the press and certain politicians, implying that GPs are greedy and somehow to blame for many of the ills of the NHS. This could not be further from the truth, when they are in reality, the front line of medical service to the public, and, in my opinion, generally failed by those that run the system and should know better.
I have been attending this surgery for 25 years or more an cannot recommend the practice highly enough.
