I have not had any side effects.These tablets have helped me so much with chronic heartburn,and the oncologist nurse said they will help with my chemotherapy plus with all the other medications I am on.

I have had no side effects with omeprazole unlike its sister drug lansaprazole which caused stomach or bowel cramps after a year of use.

I used to have chronic indigestion but this has totally elevated that problem

It's very effective. I have tried to stop and the symptoms quickly returned within two days.

Omeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. Omeprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).
