I had ACL surgery (NHS referral) on my knee yesterday. Prior to this, due to Covid all consultations were by Zoom. Dr Ellis took time to listen, analyse and explain clearly and precisely. He anticipated my concerns answering them before I needed to ask the questions. On the day of the op the staff were all fantastic, the facilities very clean and excuded professionalism throughout my time there. I hope never to need another op but should I or my family have need of one then I would hope to return here. Thank you. When we have needed the NHS they always delivered.

I had a zoom meeting with Mr Ellis on Monday 17/08/2020 regarding my painful left knee as I had a full knee knee replacement in Oct2015 at Guys and it wasn’t very successful and Mr Ellis listened to me assessed me and now I will be having tests to see what the problem is . I found Mr Ellis to be very knowledgeable extremely understanding and my faith has now been restored in getting to the bottom of my issues with my knee.

Having undergone surgery and experienced a less successful outcome often tests your faith in the medical profession. All doctors have patients for whom this situation arises. In my experience listening to the ongoing issues with empathy and drawing on my own clinical experiences generally helps restore some confidence and then helps to provide a way forward for the issues. With kind regards Simon Ellis

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Ellis. He is the consummate professional and his treatment and ongoing care has been of the highest quality. I would not go anywhere else for treatment on my knees and would advise anyone else to seek treatment from him as he is fantastic.
