Mr Ellis listened attentively to my history and symptoms. He was sympathetic and patient. Even over the telephone he was able to guide my husband in carrying out several diagnostic tests in order to glean all the details necessary to form a clear and confident understanding of my current condition. He went on to explain it perfectly to me and put together a plan of action to help me get my problems resolved. He organised an MRI scan for me the very next day and gave me the name of another consultant to see who deals more often in treating my exact issues. I couldn’t recommend him more highly! Thank you so much!

i can honestly say the treatment I received from mr Ellis could not have been better, Iwas put at ease from the first consultation and all the way through surgery and still whilst under the physio. I had a knee replacement and I'm delighted with the progress I've made . I thoroughly recommend mr Ellis.

I have been under Simon for some time now I had a arthroscopy in 2017 and now waiting for a replacement which is going ahead this month. What can I say such a nice man he is attentive and very clear on everything that he is going to do. I get regular response with regards to clear emails and also personal phone calls and good advice. I can’t recommend him enough. I will update when I have had knee replaced.

I had a warm and friendly welcome from Mr Ellis whom I saw for a 2nd opinion on feasibility and value of having an arthroscopy in my right knee. He was very clear and attentive throughout the consultation, listening to all I said and taking care to understand not only my symptoms but the longstanding history of my condition. He was reassuring about his assessment, sharing highlights of up to date and relevant research, and although it appears that surgery is not indicated at present, was also very reassuring about the best management and treatment options. The only downside was that although the previous consultant had access to a recent MRI scan of my knee which Mr Ellis also needed to see to give a conclusive 2nd opinion, the hospital had not managed to arrange for him to access the scan before the consultation. I was concerned that I may have made a wasted journey, but following this helpful consultation, I definitely did not feel that this was the case. A follow up appointment was quickly arranged for the New Year to assess the scan, review the management options and begin treatment (steroid injection to the knee is likely indicated) as may be needed. In conclusion, I feel as though I am in very good hands.

Prior to having my knee replacement operation ,Mr Ellis was very good at explaining the procedure and asking if I had any concerns. After the operation I have had physio appointments to do excercises. I also received a phone consultation due to the covid situation , once again Mr Ellis made me feel at ease and answered all my concerns. I would definitely recommend him for anyone having future knee replacement surgery. Thankyou Mr Ellis .
