A week ago I came out of Kims on the day after my TKR operation and with care I'm able to do a Captain Tom up and down the patio! Throughout my experience, I have been reassured by Mr Ellis with his explanation of my diagnosis and the options open to me. The pre-op, op and post op service at the Kims hospital was first class. The Physio joint school video I would thoroughly recommend watching before and after the operation as it gives clear and reassuring information which has helped me with my preparation and recovery. I cannot fault the care I have received and I'm looking forward to practicing my dance floor knee slides! Only joking Mr Ellis!

I would like to take the time to say thank you to Mr Simon Ellis for his excellent quality care during my knee replacement surgery, from the consultations to the actual procedure itself. He was extremely reassuring and sympathetic towards my circumstances and made all stages of the operation extremely easy to understand. I would also like to thank the dedicated team from the nurses to the kitchen staff at Kims Hospital for providing excellent quality care and being extremely supportive in my recovery.

I found Mr. Ellis to be very approachable and easy to talk to. Following some problems with medication after my total knee replacement he was far more undertanding and compassionate than my GP's surgery. This was the second time he has operated on me and I have always had confidence in his surgical skills.

Dear Simon, I should like to thank you very much for the wonderful quality of care you afforded me, from your initial consultation through to my recent total knee replacement surgery, and afterwards. Throughout, I always felt you were treating me as a whole person, taking my feelings and natural anxieties into account and ensuring that my questions and queries were answered in terms I understood. On the day of my surgery you were very reassuring beforehand and afterwards, and it was good of you to call my wife before and after my surgery, for which she was grateful and, like me, she felt very reassured. And as for the surgery itself, this has provided me with the ability to do things I had not been able to do for a long time, and I am so grateful to have this back. Kind regards and many thanks, Peter Machen
