Only three days before my knee operation I contracted a very bad chest infection which stopped my knee operation. Mr Ellis replanned it all at short notice. He also bothered to ring me at home to find out after a few days if I was feeling better.

A wonderful kind and caring man. Thoroughly competent and reliable. Was totally intent upon resolving my knee issues and getting me back to full mobility. Between Simon Ellis and my physio, I am making faster progress that I could have imagined. He has done a very neat job and it is recovering very well indeed. He is very approachable, listens and most importantly, cares.

Cannot thank Mr. Ellis enough for my knee replacement what a difference it has made to my life. For many years I had put off having treatment but it got to the point I couldn’t even rise off a chair. But after speaking to Mr. Ellis who explained everything so clearly in terms I could understand I was happy to go ahead with the operation. He was very caring in his manner and a pleasure to talk to. Once again I would like to thank him and the wonderful staff at Spire Hospital for all their care.

I visited Dr Ellis recently in order to have some more knee injections which I had done previously last year, after being referred by my GP. I found him to be very pleasant and courteous. He also explained the ongoing treatment available to me and how it would work in 'layman terms', which I found to be very helpful. I did not have to wait for my appointment on arrival, in fact, I was taken in 20 minutes earlier which was a bonus.

I had my knee operation done under the NHS at the Spire hospital, Walderslade, Mr Ellis has one to one conversations with you, listening to any problems you have,
I have had my ACL ligament and part medial cartlidge replaced, Mr Ellis came around after surgery to tell me that all had gone well.
Mr Ellis's amazing team then looked after me from Anaesatist through to ward nurses, always having time for you.
I had my knee Operation done on the NHS up at the Spire Hospital, Walderslade.
A lovely clean room with working T.V all to myself,
I would thoroughly recomend Mr Ellis and his team for this surgery.
