I had bad arthritis in both knees making it painful to walk any distance. I had a total right knee replacement on the 2nd of January. and now walking unaided, with just a small amount of discomfort. I am now going back to Kims hospital in the end of April to have the other knee replaced. I have no worries about this at all. The information ,care and attention I received from Mr Ellis was second to none. .

I had a total knee replacement in February last year but have had to see Mr Ellis as I am still experiencing some pain. I had an x ray and an examination which showed that a small bone fragment is the likely cause. Mr Ellis has been very attentive and helpful and I hope his two letters to my GP will assist me through the NHS triage system required prior to hip and knee surgery these days. Mr Ellis has also been very kind to me at a time when I have had some serious personal problems. I am very grateful to him.

Thank you for your feedback. Sadly not all operations leave the patient pain free but I am pleased to hear that my care has been supportive for you. With kind regards Simon Ellis

Mr Ellis is an absolute professional and a very pleasant and friendly man, an ideal person to be treating you for something as complex as a knee replacement. I have now had both of my knees replaced and it has been a good experience overall. Of course there is pain involved but that cannot be helped. I would recommend Mr Ellis to anyone.

On arrival for my first appointment with Mr Ellis I was feeling very uneasy and in pain. Mr Ellis put me instantly at ease and listened to my long story about the lack of care or treatment I had received by other hospitals and doctors, since the incident with my knees three weeks previous to this appointment. Mr Ellis examined me, sent me for x-rays and even arranged for an MRI to be done in an instance. I am so grateful for his expertise and compassion he showed me on my first visit to see him. I am waiting for the MRI on Friday and have every confidence that I am in the right hands for any follow up treatment I may need from Mr Ellis and will soon be on the road to a full recovery. My thanks can not be expressed enough about Mr Ellis and his staff at KIMS and the compassion and understanding they gave me.
