Having been fobbed off my numerous medical professionals over the years it is so refreshing to finally be listened to and helped. I have hypermobility syndrome and am unfortunately now used to issues not being investigated and put down to soft tissue injuries resulting from my condition. In fact my GP flat refused me an x-ray or referral when I went to them about my more recent knee problems. However, after a referral to clinical assessment from my physio and subsequent referral on to Mr Ellis I have finally been given an MRI and diagnosis as well as being booked in for arthroscopy. Turns out it wasn't all in my head after all and I am so grateful to him. His reassurance and openness about the operation has left me feeling more positive about my situation and restored my faith in health professionals.

Mr Ellis was so professional and understanding he explained what was going to happen and had impeccable manner's. If I had to have another knee replacement I hope that he would do it.

Simon & the staff at KIMs showed great care, communication & consideration on all my visits. My treatment in the day was exceptional, I never felt nervous due to their easiness at explaining the procedure throughout the day. Mr Ellis himself was thorough every time I visited pre & post surgery, I was never in doubt about the outcome.

I saw Mr Ellis for the first time at the Kim hospital on the 7th of February 2019. He was running to time so no annoying delays. He listened very carefully about both the issue I came with (knee) and some of the problems this was causing me in my day to day life and he made a recommendation that I could take back to my GP. I received my letter two days later with what had been discussed and I finally feel as if I have made contact with a doctor that is going to resolve my problem. I have given him a solid 5 stars but would have given 10 if that had been an option. Highly recommended.
