Mr Datir is a first class surgeon who, without exaggeration, has restored my quality of life. I have had two total hip replacements, both carried out by Mr Datir, and I have gone from being in abstract agony to being completely pain free. I could not recommend Mr Datir enough, not only is he a brilliant surgeon but his demeanour and caring nature really puts you at ease.

I went in to St Hugh’s hospital on the 15th of March 2024 for a total knee replacement. My operation was performed by the wonderful surgeon Mr Sandeep Datir. to say that I was very nervous is an understatement, however Mr. Datir reassured me and put me at ease throughout and my operation went extremely well. My stay at the hospital was the best experience I have had staying in different hospitals and all of the staff were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. I have to have my other knee done as well in the future, however as long as Mr. Datir can be my surgeon again I know I will be in safe hands.

i had hip replacement surgery at spire hull and i can not speak highly enough of dr dakir and the whole team at spire. i went in on a saturday and came out the following day.i have had no issues with my hip and was told what to expect in recovery..the follow up physio sessions are good.. i would highly recommend dr dakir and spire healthcare..
