With Mr Young I have had 2 operations on the medial side of my right knee. The latest was a Uni-compartmental knee replacement which has been a total success. Mr Young used the previous operation data to assist in me making the right choice in having the partial knee replacement. The level of information given to me was superb making me feel like I understood the challenges and solutions. The conversations are informative but feeling you are speaking to a human with great empathy and understanding of the situation. I would see no one else if I ever needed anything on either this or my other knee. Amazing consultant and made the journey so much easier with all necessary data - brilliant

My teenage son suffered a torn ACL and Meniscus injury, and approached his initial consultation with some trepidation, but any concerns were soon diminished after meeting with Mr. Young who explained the reality of the situation, procedure required and rehabilitation process in a relatable and reassuring manner. This professionalism and care was a consistent theme throughout our interactions with Mr. Young, Tess and all at Nuffield Hospital - I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent team.

I am so happy to have had my partial knee replacement carried out by Mr Young and his team at the Nuffield, Tunbridge Wells. I was so well looked after before, during and after the operation. As a keen gardener and walker it is as though scaffolding has been replaced allowing me to walk confidently ( and without that limp! ) at last. Thanks to all involved in my treatment and rehab.

Mr Young really listened to me and had an integrative approach, where he didn’t just focus on my knee issues but other symptoms throughout my body as well. My experience has been that it’s very rare to find a specialist who works in this way and I hugely appreciate it, because after two years of immobility I now feel my case is being handled with care and is going in the right direction. I have recently undergone a partial medial meniscectomy and removal of loose chondral bodies on my left knee . After five years of pain I’m now walking without the aid of a walking stick and looking forward to hiking in the mountains with my family once again. I can honestly say that from my first contact with Mr Young and the wonderful people at Nuffield, Tunbridge Wells I felt totally at ease. I found everyone helpful , understanding and considerate .
